About
The Verbarium is a place for people who love words — and love the small thrill of finding the right one before the clock runs out.
I’m Kleoniq Kosova, and I built this site for one simple reason: word games are everywhere, but good, honest writing about them is surprisingly rare. Most “word list” pages are auto-generated junk. I wanted somewhere that actually helps you play better, learn more words, and understand why English behaves the way it does — written by a real person who plays these games too.

What you’ll find here
- Word lists that are actually curated and checked — not scraped.
- Strategy guides for timed word games, built from real play, not theory.
- Vocabulary and etymology pieces that explain why words look and sound the way they do.
- Find the Word, our own free word game — race the clock and see how many words you can find.
Who’s behind it
I’m Kleoniq Kosova, a writer based in Tirana, Albania, with a long-running habit of playing letter and word games and wondering how they actually work. What started as curiosity about which obscure words really count turned into this site: a growing collection of lists, tactics, and language history I wish had existed when I started.
Writing is what I do, and words have always been the part of it I enjoy most — not just using them, but taking them apart to see where they come from and why they behave the way they do. English is a gloriously messy language built from a dozen others, and word games are the most fun way I’ve found to explore that mess. This site is where I share what I learn along the way, in plain language, for anyone who gets the same kick out of finding the perfect word.
Found a word we missed or an error in a list? I’d like to hear it — I read everything and fix things fast.
You can reach me any time through the Contact page.
Thanks for reading, and good luck.
